The No. 5 USC Trojans are no longer undefeated in men's basketball after losing a road game Tuesday against the unranked Stanford Cardinal, 75-69.
According to ESPN Stats and Info, Stanford snapped a streak of 14 consecutive losses against teams ranked top five by the Associated Press. The Cardinal's last win against a top-five team came 15 years ago in a game against the UCLA Bruins.
USC and Stanford traded the lead back and forth throughout the game with the Trojans leading 64-62 with less than four minutes left. But USC struggled to make shots late in the game, and Stanford pulled away with a 13-5 run to close out the second half.
Stanford was led by junior Spencer Jones and freshman Harrison Ingram, who each scored 21 points against the Trojans.
Following USC's loss, the only undefeated team in the country is the No. 1 Baylor Bears, who have a game Tuesday night against No. 19 Texas Tech.
