The offense came back to defeat the defense late in the fourth quarter of Louisville's Spring Football Game, 45-37. Quarterback Tyler Shough, a senior transfer from Texas Tech, seemed to secure his spot as the Cardinals' top QB heading into the fall. Shough completed 8 of 12 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Chris Bell was the standout player of the game, catching an 80-yard touchdown on the first play of the game, and finishing the night with three catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Walk-on receiver Kris Hughes also made a big impact on the game with five catches for 63 yards and a 70-yard run on a reverse. On defense, redshirt cornerback Quincy Riley and sophomore linebacker Stanquan Clark each had an interception. Get your first look at the 2024 Louisville Cardinals with the spring football game.
