Some stunts performed in films are too dangerous for untrained actors, but not all opt for a stunt double. These 20 actors have performed their own impressive stunts.

Daniel Stern played the Wet Bandit (who isn’t Joe Pesci) in Home Alone and performed his stunts in both films. Stern had a spider on his face in the first film. In the second film, one of his climbing stunts went awry, and Stern ended up banged and bruised from it.

Sigourney Weaver’s stunt history is quite impressive. Director Ridley Scott made Weaver perform her own stunts in Alien, and since then, it’s been common practice for the actor to go sans stunt double. Recently, Weave performed a slew of underwater stunts for the Avatar sequel.
