Christopher Nolan couldn't wait to return to the movie theater

People have waited in many a long theater line to watch Christopher Nolan's films.

Roles were reversed this week, as the acclaimed director reportedly was at the front of the line when AMC Theater in Burbank, California, reopened:

According to KTLA, the Burbank 16 welcomed back moviegoers Monday.

The report also relayed the following: "The chain will have its remaining 23 locations in L.A. County open by March 19, and nearly all of its 56 California multiplexes opened by that date as well."

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health updated its guidelines last Thursday, allowing movie theaters to reopen indoors at 25-percent capacity as the COVID-19 vaccine continues to become more available to citizens.

Nolan is a five-time Oscar nominee, most recently in 2018 under the best motion picture of the year and best achievement in directing categories for Dunkirk. The CBE British-American is also known for his work directing, writing and producing films such as The Dark Knight (2008), Inception (2010), Interstellar (2014) and Tenet (2020).
