The 2024 CMT Music Awards honored the best country videos of the year on Sunday night (April 7), live on CBS from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, and Jelly Roll was the night’s big winner.
The country singer/rapper took home the trophies for Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, and the CMT Performance of the Year for his hit song “Need a Favor.” He also performed his latest single “Halfway To Hell” live at the ceremony.
Lainey Wilson, who was also nominated in three categories, won Female Video of the Year for her track “Watermelon Moonshine.” Meanwhile, The Voice coaches Dan + Shay won Duo/Group Video of the Year for their song “Save Me the Trouble.”
The ceremony was hosted by singer Kelsea Ballerini, who received nominations in three separate categories. Ballerini was also one of the night’s live performers, which also included Jason Aldean, Bailey Zimmerman, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Sugarland, Sam Hunt, Old Dominion, Parker McCollum, and Brittney Spencer.
Wilson also sang with Brooks & Dunn and Sammy Hagar to pay tribute to the late Toby Keith, who died of stomach cancer back in February.
