Drake spits fire across three tracks on new 'Scary Hours 2' EP

The scariest part about Scary Hours 2  is that Drake somehow manages to keep getting better.

The three-track EP features Lil Baby on "Wants and Needs" and an especially fire verse from Rick Ross on "Lemon Pepper Freestyle," but Drake was never outdone. "What's Next" rounds out the project—topped off by a larger-than-life visual directed by long-time Drake documenter Theo Skudra:

Scary Hours 2 should more than suffice as an appetizer for Certified Lover Boy for the OVO faithful. The latter, of course, is the much-anticipated follow-up to 25-track Scorpion (2018) and Drake's sixth studio album. CLB was originally expected in January, but the 34-year-old Toronto native announced its delay in late January.

"I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery," Drake wrote in an Instagram update (h/t Variety), referencing knee surgery he underwent last fall. "I'm blessed to be back on my feet feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won't be dropping in January. I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021."

If Scary Hours 2 is any indication, Certified Lover Boy will be well worth the wait. The charts and fans should start preparing themselves now.
