It takes two: 25 of the best R&B duets

Artists have always joined forces throughout music history, but there's something special about the R&B duet. There's a magical symmetry between two vocalists coming together to draw listeners in and feel their emotions through the music.

Whether fans need a wedding song or a track to help them heal from a past relationship, duets make for a perfect soundtrack. From break-ups to make-ups, to love and loss, here is a list of some of the finest duets in R&B history.
