COVID-19 is hitting the late-night circuit.
On Monday (Jan. 3), Jimmy Fallon announced that he tested positive "on the first day of our holiday break," but because he is vaccinated and boosted, he only had mild symptoms:
Fallon, 47, clarified in the comments section that he tested positive Dec. 18, which allowed for him to be "back at work today and feeling 100%!" (h/t People). The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon returned with its first episode of 2022 Monday night.
Then Tuesday (Jan. 4), Seth Meyers entered the chat:
The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!) We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!
