Ray Allen was the lead character of one of the greatest basketball movies ever made. In 1998, two years into his NBA career, Ray Allen played Jesus Shuttleworth in 'He Got Game', a movie directed by legendary filmmaker and NBA superfan Spike Lee. And Allen recently shared a behind-the-scenes picture with himself, Rosario Dawson, and Spike Lee.

Ray Allen took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of himself, actress Rosario Dawson, and Spike Lee on the set of 'He Got Game' from 1998. In the caption, he poked fun at the fact that Rosario Dawson was waiting for a bus that wouldn't arrive until he reached the set ready.

Rosario Dawson didn’t realize that the B36 bus didn’t show up until I got there. Lol

Allen became very famous thanks to his role in the movie. Much like 'Space Jam' with Michael Jordan, Ray Allen was part of one of the most iconic basketball movies in history. What's more impressive is that Allen was part of this movie before he became a superstar in the NBA.

Allen would go on to have great success in the NBA. He became an All-Star in the early 2000s. And by 2007, he would join the Boston Celtics to form a big three with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. The trio would lead the Celtics to the NBA championship in their first season together.

A couple of years later, Allen shockingly joined the Celtics' rivals Miami Heat and helped one of the most clutch shots in NBA history in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals, a shot that revived the Heat and helped them win Game 6 and 7 to win the 2013 NBA championship. Allen retired after the season, going down a legend of the game.
