Reality TV fights so shocking you can't look away

Porsha and Kenya’s fight on The Real Housewives of Atlanta was one of the first to take place on The Real Housewives series. As you can imagine, it was dramatic, leading to Porsha’s demotion and a serious conversation about boundaries. 

We never thought we’d see a fight on The Real Housewives of Potomac, but Season 5 brought us something entirely different. After a season of back-and-forth bickering, tensions reached an all-time high at a winery where Monique and Candiace finally squared off. 

There are so many legendary fights on The Kardashians that it’s hard to keep up, but when Kim told Kourtney she was the “least interesting to look at,” we couldn’t turn away. 

The fights on Jersey Shore were always intense, but Sammi and JWoww’s were so over-the-top you couldn’t believe your eyes. 

If you ever seen Mob Wives, you know why it’s on this list. These Staten Island firecrackers fought every episode over all sorts of things. They were relentless with each other and showed absolutely no mercy. 

From Season 1 until Season 17, Bad Girls Club reality TV fans tons of unbelievable content. From Bad Girls Natalie Nunn to Mehgan James, each season was memorable, with mind-blowing fights. 

Even if Total Divas was slightly scripted, the fights made us believe the series was real. It ran on the E! network from 2013-2019, featuring WWE legends like John Cena and Ronda Rousey. 

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Danielle Staub and Margaret Joseph’s hair-pulling match inside a fashion boutique was so unexpected we couldn’t take our eyes off the screen. The attack seemed unprovoked then, but as you let the season play out, a shocking truth will come to light. 

Evelyn has been in a few fights on Basketball Wives, but one of her first was with her fellow OG co-star Royce Reed. The pair fought in a Miami garden lounge over petty rumors and mixed feelings. 

Another explosive fight on The Real Housewives of New Jersey occurred between brothers Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga. Their family drama has been Jersey’s focal point for the last ten years, resulting in broken relationships, numerous screaming matches, and fallen tears. 

This fight on The Real World was jaw-dropping. It was between roommates Nia and Avery and started over simple misunderstandings. Even then, their fight resulted in several rounds, including non-traditional weapons of choice, like a blowdryer. 

It’s one thing to fight over something you’re passionate about, but fighting over a guy you know is no good is not a good look. Still, Danielle and Ciara’s fight on Summer House was so full of emotion and intensity that we couldn’t resist watching. 

Just like Total Divas, the storylines on Love & Hip Hop are unbelievable, but that doesn’t stop watchers from tuning in. Seasons have featured big stars like Cardi B and Ray J and even bigger fights between co-stars across all cities, from Miami to New York.  

Big Brother is a reality show with a zero-tolerance policy for fighting. One swing, and you’re out. Season 14 contestant Willie Hantz knows that too well. He’s one of the only players expelled after head-butting another contestant. 

Even though this wasn’t a physical fight, Omarosa fighting with Michael Jackson’s sister LaToya is a feud we’ll never stop thinking about. 

Abby Lee Miller was an outlandish character, but the mothers who attended her studio were just as grand — and their fight on the streets of New Orleans exemplifies that.   

Even though Jeremiah and Gus were fighting over something trivial on MTV’s Floribama Shore, they were so emotional it made the scene fascinating. Instead of putting their issues aside, Gus continued their feud into the following seasons, resulting in a few rocked heads and bloody noses. 

Josh is known for winning his season of Big Brother and appearing on several seasons of The Challenge. Throughout his time on both shows, he’s let his emotions control him, resulting in fights with stars like CT, Devin, and Kyle.   

Before CT became the voice of reason of The Challenge, he also used to fight with his co-stars. His most notable arguments are between him and Wes Bergmann, Frank, Johnny Bananas, and Adam, whom he struck in the face.
