We've all heard of high school sweethearts.
Angelo Massagli and Caitlin Hale are the only two who can claim to be School of Rock sweethearts, though.
Over the weekend, internet sleuths—God bless them—uncovered that the two former child actors have grown up to fall in love in real life:
This is blowing up so I just wanted to make sure that I credit the tik tok i came across that inspired this tweet :). Until then, you’re not hardcore, unless you live hardcore

School of Rock hit theaters in October 2003. The Richard Linklater and Mike White film chronicled Dewey Finn (Jack Black) pretending to be a lowly substitute teacher only to transform his strict classroom into a beloved makeshift rock band. Massagli played Frankie, the band's security, and Hale played backup singer Marta. Joan Cusack and Sarah Silverman also starred.
Amazingly, this is the second time School of Rock has gone viral in the last month. Fans and newcomers alike fell in love with a resurfaced clip from the movie last month, which shows Finn (Black) encouraging Tomika (Maryam Hassan) to embrace body positivity and her singing voice:
This scene is more revolutionary than I think they even knew and it really stuck with me as a child. Especially the last line. pic.twitter.com/KkhvGicjVZ
