Watch the first official teaser for Camila Cabello's 'Cinderella'

Spoiler alert: Camila Cabello can still sing with the best of them while dressed as Cinderella.

Amazon Prime Video revealed the first official teaser for its forthcoming live-action "modern musical version" of Cinderella on Wednesday (June 30), and while only 30 seconds, it's clear that Cabello shines as the classic Disney princess in her film-acting debut:

In it, Cinderella is sewing dresses ("Dresses by Ella") and giving herself a pep talk. "Soon, everyone will know my name," she says to no one. "Life outside this basement starts right now."

We also see a glimpse of Billy Porter as the magical and wonderfully sassy Fairy Godmother.

Cabello shared the clip to Instagram accompanied by three crying emojis and this caption: "this was one of the most magical experiences of my life. I can't wait for you to see it. out on @amazonprimevideo September 3!"

Cinderella was written and directed by Kay Cannon. Alongside Cabello and Porter, Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, Pierce Brosnan, James Corden and Nicholas Galitzine are among those who round out the cast.
The movie was originally slated for a theatrical release via Sony Pictures, but as reported by Deadline in early May, plans were shifted to stream it with Amazon Prime.
