CinemaCon has been dropping some incredibly exciting previews of the most anticipated films on the release calendar, including the first details on Mickey 17, an early look at Furiosa, and the Joker 2 trailer.
Universal was the next major studio to get their time to shine at the convention, revealing brand new details about the highly anticipated WICKED movie starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
Audiences in attendance got the first look at over five minutes of footage from the film, which included a preview of Ariana Grande singing Glinda's signature "Popular" and Cynthia Erivo belting out the powerhouse ballad "Defying Gravity".
Discussing Film revealed that audiences also got a first look at Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible and Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard of Oz.
It also appears that the long-asked question of "Who will play Doctor Dillamond?" was finally answered.
Dillamond will appear in the film as a CGI goat but will be voiced by four-time Emmy winner Peter Dinklage.
Fans of the Broadway production will be familiar with the epic ensemble number "Dancing Through Life". It appears Universal snuck that into the footage screened, showing the moment when Elphaba dons her infamous hat for the first time.
Costume and props, including Glinda and Elphaba's dresses, were also on display for fans to look at, Discussing Film reports.
