Eagles hosted Notre Dame OT Blake Fisher for pre-draft visit
Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles are no doubt going to add to their offensive line and secondary in this year's NFL draft.

We know this because the Eagles have met and hosted mainly offensive linemen and defensive backs for their top 30 visits.

One of the latest names to pop up on their top 30 visit tracker is Notre Dame offensive tackle Blake Fisher

According to Notre Dame recruiting analyst, Matt Freeman, the Eagles aren't the only team that has recently met with Fisher.

The Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers also hosted the Fighting Irish product for a top 30 visit.

Fisher isn't as highly touted as his fellow Notre Dame linemate, Joe Alt, but he's a solid Day 2 option if the Eagles want to focus on bolstering their secondary in the first round.

The Eagles are not desperate for an offensive tackle, however, they need to start planning for a future without Lane Johnson who turns 34 in May.

Fisher (6-foot-6, 310 pounds) started 25 games at right tackle for the Irish. He's known for his exceptional run-blocking skills but could use some guidance in pass protection, though he would spend at least a year learning from the absolute best if he came to Philly.
