While that is, in a vacuum, lots of money, many think that it’s way below what Clark could potentially help the WNBA generate in terms of revenue. Given her impact and drawing power, one can expect Clark to spark massive jersey sales, help sell out arenas, and at the very least, attract a ton of attention on nights that she plays with the Fever. “Biggest woman’s hooper in the world is getting paid an entry level consultant salary,” posted @lamibackup on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter).

“Teacher salary for a superstar is wild. The WNBA has to do better. This is unacceptable,” said @HaterReport_.

“Presumably she’ll make bank on endorsements but Caitlin Clark’s WNBA salary is less than that of a union nurse, teacher, or cop,” wrote @kittypurrzog.
