Tyron Woodley is unhappy with Manny Pacquiao after their rumored boxing bout looks like going nowhere.

Woodley is seeking to enter the ring once again following his two showings against Jake Paul. Both ended in defeats for the former UFC fighter. The first bout resulted in a split decision loss. Woodley ran things back, only to get stopped in the sixth round. Since then, he has not had a boxing bout, only for rumours of a Pacman fight to materialize.

Pacquiao’s last professional fight was a 2021 loss to Yordenis Ugas. The Filipino lost his WBO Welterweight Title as he announced his retirement. The eight-division champion has had an exhibition since his retirement. He beat DK Yoo via a unanimous decision. In April, he was also on course to box Mauy Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek.

However, that bout has now been postponed. Other fights which have been mentioned include Floyd Mayweather and Conor Benn. Pacman announced the Mayweather rematch at RIZN 45 last year, while Eddie Hearn stated talks were ongoing for a Benn bout. Neither of those fights have been made, nor does the Woodley fight look close to happening. Now, Woodley has blamed Pacquiao for being greedy.

Woodley Reacts

“I don’t want it all to fall off the table from greed. It’s really greed. He’s getting a handsome purse. So he wants more…and you made x-amount of dollars in your prime, but this is a different type of fight…I’m on the opposite end. Every fight now, I’m making more than when I was in my UFC prime…I’m making more each fight, and that’s what I’m looking forward to. I’m a little different, I’m willing to budge a little bit because I’m still gonna make more every single time…he’s been a little ‘thot’ out there, facing off with someone else…keep your body safe for me, so I can beat it up,” Woodley said

Woodley has other things to keep him occupied if the fight is not made. He will appear alongside Luke Rockhold for a new fighting series, coaching the next generation of talent, in a show called ‘HFC Fight Show Reality.

Woodley’s Other Venture

The series is similar to the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter. It will be filmed in the United Arab Emirates. Woodley and Rockhold will be coaches but are unlikely to fight each other. Woodley’s UFC career ended on bad terms, with him losing his last four bouts. Meanwhile, Rockhold was knocked out by Mike Perry in a bareknuckle fight last year. However, the series will face strong competition from TUF 32, which will feature Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko as rival coaches.

“What’s up everybody. We have just confirmed the coaches for Season 32 of The Ultimate Fighter. and it will be UFC women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso and former champion Valentina Shevchenko. Grasso became the 1st Mexican USC women’s champion after defeating Shevchenko and their last fight ended in a draw. Before their last 2 fights Valentina had successfully defended the belt 7 times. This show will premier on June 4th on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+,” White stated
