American League All-Star Has Fun Discussing Favorite Breakfast Spots Now That Season is Over
USA TODAY Sports

What do Major League Baseball players do when the regular season is over?

Well, for 12 teams, you head to the playoffs, but if you're Oakland Athletics All-Star Brent Rooker, you apparently start talking about your favorite breakfast spots in the United States.

Rooker had some fun on social media on Monday morning discussing his favorite spots to eat around the country, so if you're ever in the neighborhood....

One of my favorite parts of the season is getting to travel to all the different cities and try out new breakfast places in the mornings. Now that the season is complete, here is a list of some of my favorite breakfasts that I ate this year. (Absolutely nobody asked for this)

•Fried Egg Sandwich + Banana Pancakes - The Farm (Beverly Hills, CA) •Boujee Breakfast Sandwich - Simply Delicious (St. Louis, MO)

•Spicy Chicken Tinga Breakfast Tacos - Beatrix (Chicago, IL)

•Lobster Toast - Brass Tack (Chicago, IL)

•Blackstone Benedict - Flo’s Diner (Yorkville, Toronto, ON, CA)

•Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich on Croissant - Baccos Cafe (Seattle, WA)

There you have it - the official top breakfasts in Major League cities!

In addition to being a food connoisseur, Rooker was also pretty good at the plate this year, making his first All-Star Game for the Athletics.

He hit .246 with 30 home runs and 69 RBI. He also posted a .817 OPS.

He just wrapped up his fourth Major League season with the Twins, Padres, Royals and A's. He played 137 games this season, which was more than he had played the previous three years combined.
