Kansas City Royals outfielder Brett Phillips might have crashed into a wall in Cleveland on Tuesday. But it didn’t do anything to dull his sense of humor.
The play, which you can see here, was rather ugly. Despite that, he remained in the game for a while before ultimately being replaced.
Afterwards, Phillips was able to joke about it.
@Indians I’m sorry about your wall, you’re definitely gonna need to fix it in the off-season. Thank you to everyone who reached out, I appreciate the concerns. All will be fine on my end, continued prayers for the wall though. #WallAlwaysWins https://t.co/s4gu496QnV

It’s good to see Phillips keeping a good sense of humor.
At the time of this writing, the wall had yet to release a statement on its condition. So, let’s all follow Phillips’ request and keep a good thought for it.
