Brewers manager surprises players with family Zoom call at Miller Park

The Major League Baseball season is set to get underway in the coming weeks, and while no fans or family members are allowed to attend practices or games, Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell surprised his players in the best way possible on July 4.

Counsell broadcasted a massive family Zoom call on the Miller Park outfield big board so families could watch the players practice on July 4, and utility man Brock Holt couldn't have been any more appreciative.

Former Boston Red Sox players Shane Victorino and David Price also thought the gesture was terrific. Victorino commenting "YES SIR" on Holt's post with Price saying "That is awesome!!"

Holt, who has a young son named Griffin, also has another child on the way. So the gesture from Counsell was especially amazing for him.

This is the first we've heard of any team across MLB doing this for players and their families. Now that Counsell planted the seed, it's only a matter of time before we see other teams do something similar.
