The Cincinnati Reds signed left-handed pitcher Tyler Gilbert to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training on Wednesday.
Gilbert, 30, was a sixth-round pick by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2015. He has spent parts of the last three seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
He's posted an ERA of 4.32 in 91 2/3 innings, making 28 career appearances and 13 starts.
He gives the Reds more depth in the bullpen with spring training looming.
