The San Diego Padres are reportedly looking to re-sign Ha-Seong Kim after a career-year in 2023. The Padres would like to make Kim their permanent shortstop.
Manny Machado revealed he is "feeling good" after undergoing elbow surgery during the offseason. Machado is unsure if he'll be ready for the start of the 2024 season.
During an interview Thursday, Padres GM AJ Preller said free agent Blake Snell "can help anyone," but did not state whether or not the Padres could re-sign the NL Cy Young winner.
