One-Eyed Shara 'Bullet' Magomedov Sends Former Champion Michael Bisping A Message After UFC 294 Win
David G. McIntyre-USA TODAY Sports

UFC 294 featured a highly-anticipated UFC debut in the first fight of the night in Abu Dhabi.

Coming into the promotion with an undefeated record, the most striking thing about Shara Magomedov is his look that once you see, you will never forget.

With his ginger beard and hair, "Bullet" only has one fully operational eye with his right eye having limited vision.

Whilst he has been able to maintain some vision through multiple surgeries, there is no denying that he is fighting at a disadvantage despite racking up twelve consecutive wins in his pro career.

Though his debut victory over Bruno Silva didn't build the hype in the way a lot of people hoped it would, it only takes one glimpse of Magomedov for his impression to be left on you.

After his win, the Russian middleweight took the opportunity to thank one of the few men who has not only gone through similar battles but did it at the top of the sport.

Magomedov Thanks Michael Bisping For Motivation, Former Champion Responds

Having impaired vision in one eye isn't the best base for being an elite competitor in MMA, but someway and somehow, Michael Bisping made it work.

For anyone that could potentially try and downplay what Magomedov is trying to accomplish, you would simply need to show them the success of "The Count" at the end of his career.

Not only did the UFC Hall of Famer lie in order to pass doctor's examinations for years in the UFC, but he did so whilst producing the best performances of his career.

With just one eye, Bisping knocked out Luke Rockhold on short notice at UFC 199 to become the middleweight champion.

After getting his hand raised in the Octagon for the first time, Magomedov thanked Bisping for motivating him in his career in a video for TNT Sports in the UK.

“Michael Bisping… You [give me] motivation. Very, very motivation. You champion. You champion”

Bisping posted the video on his Instagram story, wishing the fighter well after the kind words.

"Congrats brother!"
