Cody Garbrandt has blown spectators away with a one-shot knockout over Brian Kelleher at UFC 296.

The one round fight was largely competitive, with Keller landing some grueling calf kicks and Garbrandt getting the better of the boxing exchanges.

"No Love" showcased some of the speed which won him the bantamweight crown back in 2016, blitzing Kelleher with 5-6-7 combination punches.

The knockout came as Kelleher tried to bait-and-switch by landing a calf kick then attempting a high kick to the face. Garbrandt immediately responded with a right hook straight to Kelleher's jaw. "Boom" fell face first to the mat clutching his face and the fight was waved off.

Garbrandt puts together his first win streak since 2016, after winning just three of his last seven bouts. The 32-year-old slugger showcased his swollen shin before calling out Deiveson Figueiredo in the post-fight interview.

Former flyweight champion Figueiredo made the successful move up to bantamweight on December 2, picking up a unanimous decision over Rob Font.

With his newly minted #8 bantamweight ranking, the "God of War" may not entertain Garbrandt's callout, but the fight would be a fan-pleaser nonetheless.
