Cedi Osman's Status Uncertain For Game 3 Of Cavaliers-Knicks Series

The Cleveland Cavaliers are already facing some adversity as their series with the New York Knicks changes locations to the hostile Madison Square Garden. Cleveland has labeled Cedi Osman as QUESTIONABLE for Game 3 with an ankle sprain on the latest injury report.

Osman didn't appear to blatantly injure the ankle in Game 2, but it's an injury that he's dealing with nonetheless.

Losing Osman would be a massive blow to Cleveland's bench who rediscovered their identity in Game 2.

Cedi was the team's most effective reserve in Game 1 and, even though they lost, scored 9 points which included knocking down a couple of threes. He was then the first man off the bench in Game 2.

His presence was still clearly felt on the floor even though his scoring totals went down as the Cavs evened the series up. Osman played tremendous defense against Jalen Bruson in both games which is J.B. Bickerstaff has turned to him so early in the season.

There is reason to be hopeful with Game 3 still a day away. Osman reportedly practiced on Thursday and appeared to be walking fine despite what the injury report says.

The Cavs will need Game 3 to be all hands on deck as they look to take a series lead and regain home-court advantage.
