Willie Cauley-Stein was the sixth pick in the 2015 NBA Draft (out of Kentucky) by the Sacramento Kings.
He has had a solid pro-career, and most recently played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks in 2021-22.
So far this year, the 29-year-old has played in 26 G League games, and on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports that he is going to sign a ten-day contract with the Houston Rockets.
Via Charania: "The Houston Rockets are planning to sign center Willie Cauley-Stein to a 10-day contract, sources tell me and @KellyIko. Cauley-Stein, a seven-year NBA veteran, has spent the season with Rockets‘ Rio Grande Valley G League affiliate."
