Kings-Suns Injury Report: Malik Monk & JaVale McGee Status Revealed
USA TODAY Sports

After taking a tough loss against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, the Sacramento Kings have the chance to rebound on Friday in their matchup against the Phoenix Suns. It’ll be the second time these teams have met this season, with the Kings taking home a win in the first one, 114-106.

However, both sides might be a bit banged up for this contest, with several names listed on each injury report. While the Kings currently only have one confirmed absence, Phoenix will be dealing with a bit more trouble.

Sacramento Kings:

Malik Monk- QUESTIONABLE (foot)

JaVale McGee- QUESTIONABLE (wrist)

Alex Len- OUT (ankle)

Phoenix Suns:

Josh Okogie- QUESTIONABLE (hip)

Bradley Beal- OUT (ankle)

Jusuf Nurkic- OUT (personal reasons)

Damion Lee- OUT (knee)

For Sacramento, Malik Monk and JaVale McGee are in question for tonight’s game. Monk is dealing with a foot injury that kept him sidelined for the team’s Thursday practice. As for McGee, he’s suffering from some right wrist irritation that may ultimately keep him out of this one.

Alex Len also remains out with an ankle injury but returned to practice on Thursday as a full participant, providing optimism for his status moving forward.

The Suns will be without Bradley Beal once again, who has yet to be able to get a rhythm in Phoenix’s lineup a quarter of the way through the season with back and ankle issues. Jusuf Nurkic will also be missing in action for the first time this year, listed as inactive due to a personal matter.

The Kings and Suns will tip off at 7 PM PT at the Golden One Center, with Sacramento hoping to get back to their winning ways and get a continued edge of the Pacific Division.
