Golden State Warriors guard Andrew Wiggins has returned to the team, The Athletic reported Tuesday, after he missed the past four games while tending to what was labeled a "serious family matter."
Wiggins also missed the final 25 regular-season games last season to deal with a "family matter."
Wiggins is expected to play Wednesday at home against the Milwaukee Bucks after he reportedly was at the team's practice facility Tuesday.
Wiggins, 29, has averaged 12.7 points with 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 51 games (40 starts) this season. He has averaged 18.7 points over 10 career seasons with 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 686 games (675 starts) for the Minnesota Timberwolves (2015-20) and Warriors.
The Warriors fell 140-88 to the Boston Celtics in a road game Sunday and went 3-1 over the four road games Wiggins missed.
