The veteran guard was traded along with a draft pick from the Toronto Raptors to the Spurs in exchange for Thaddeus Young, Drew Eubanks and a draft pick at last week's NBA trade deadline. It was reported that day that Dragic was expected to be bought out by San Antonio.
A 2018 All-Star with the Miami Heat, Dragic is in his 14th season in the league, but he has been limited to just five games thus far and hasn't played since November due to personal reasons.
The 35-year-old has posted career averages of 13.9 points, 4.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 27.9 minutes per game over 872 career regular-season contests. Dragic has a career .462/.364/.767 shooting line and has played for the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Heat and Raptors.
