Terry Rozier took a massive shot at the Charlotte Hornets organization while talking about his new team, the Miami Heat.
Rozier said losing is in the Hornets’ DNA.
Terry Rozier was asked by @WillGuillory about the difference between losing in Charlotte vs losing in Miami.

"It's the total opposite. In Charlotte, you're kinda used to losing. It's in the DNA. Over here, it's the total opposite. Nobody wants to lose. Nobody is fine with it." pic.twitter.com/e724Ze7yAc
Rozier played in 298 games with the Hornets, who went 117-181 with the guard in the lineup. Charlotte traded Rozier to Miami and the Ohio native was thrilled when the trade happened.
Unfortunately for Rozier, the Heat are 0-4 since acquiring him from the Hornets. They have lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns. Miami lost to Boston by 33 points.
Rozier is averaging 11.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks with the Heat while shooting 38.3% from the field, 35.3% from beyond the arc and 100.0% from the free-throw line. He has a plus-minus of -19.
Rozier is making $23.2 million this season. He signed a four-year, $96.3 million extension with the Hornets in August 2021. Rozier, who began his career with the Celtics, will make $24.9 million next season.
The Heat are currently on a seven-game losing streak. They haven’t won a game since January 15 against the Brooklyn Nets. Rozier and Co. will look to win their first game together tomorrow versus the Sacramento Kings, who are in fifth place in the West with a strong record of 27-18.
Rozier, 29, has career averages of 14.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.2 blocks with the Celtics, Hornets and Heat. Charlotte and Miami have already finished their season series, so Rozier won’t get to face his old team this season.
