Warriors’ Stephen Curry Reaches Shocking New 3-Point Milestone
Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter the NBA has ever seen. He revolutionized the game with his style of play, as he is a threat to shoot the ball right when he steps on the court from any distance away from the basket.

Highlights galore exist of him knocking down shots from distances that would have seemed inconceivable two decades ago. But the NBA game is expanding and changing in large part because of what Curry has been able to accomplish.

Over the years, we have seen some truly incredible shooting performances, but no one delivers them quite as often as Curry. Despite all of the accolades and honors he has racked up throughout his career, he is still setting shooting records this season.

Earlier in the 2023-24 NBA campaign, Curry set a record for the most games with 7+ 3-pointers made in a row. Last week, he set another NBA record by knocking down his 300th 3-pointer for the fifth consecutive season.

“He gonna do it again next year. I’m not surprised,” Chris Paul remarked about Curry’s milestone. “It’s easy for him, he shoots the life out of the ball, takes care of his body.”

Paul is probably right with his assessment. Curry has shown no signs of slowing down; the only thing that can keep him from reaching the 300-make mark is health. Last season, Curry appeared in only 56 games and still had 273 3-pointers. During the 2017-18 campaign, he played in only 51 games and had 212 makes.

While Curry and the Warriors have slowed down a bit this season, as they are in a dogfight for the last spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament in the Western Conference, Curry himself remains an elite shooter. Regardless of what happens with the roster this offseason, Curry can be relied upon to continue shooting the ball at a high clip.
