After Aaron Donald's retirement, only one Rams player remains who played in St. Louis

Future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald announced his retirement on Friday.
The decision means that right tackle Rob Havenstein is now the last remaining member of the Los Angeles Rams who also played for the franchise in St. Louis, according to The Athletic. The only other four active players who suited up in St. Louis all currently play for another team.

Havenstein was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft, one year after Donald was picked 13th overall and one year before the organization relocated to Los Angeles.

Like Donald, Havenstein has spent his entire career with the Rams, playing 130 regular-season games (all starts) and 11 playoff contests. The two players won a Super Bowl ring at the end of the 2021 campaign when Los Angeles defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.

Quarterback Case Keenum has played for seven different franchises during his 11-year career. After spending 2013 and 2014 with the Houston Texans, he was traded to St. Louis in March 2015. His 16 games over the next two seasons with the Rams tied for the most he's played with any team.

Keenum played six contests and made five starts in St. Louis in 2015, before suiting up for 10 games (nine starts) with Los Angeles in 2016. The 36-year-old went 7-7 in his 14 starts and posted a 60.9 completion percentage for 3,029 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Safety Rodney McLeod signed with St. Louis as an undrafted free agent in 2012 and spent the first four years of his career playing under head coach Jeff Fisher. McLeod then played six seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and won a Super Bowl. He played for the Indianapolis Colts in 2022 and the Cleveland Browns last season.

St. Louis drafted kicker Greg Zuerlein in the sixth round in 2012 and he stayed with the Rams through the 2019 season. Greg the Leg has been one of the best at his position in the last decade, earning a first-team All-Pro honor and Pro Bowl nod in 2017.

The Rams had arguably the best kicker/punter combination for eight years as Johnny Hekker joined St. Louis as an undrafted free agent in 2012. The Oregon State product made four Pro Bowls and was a four-time first-team All-Pro, leading the league in punt yardage twice.

Hekker was teammates with Donald and Havenstein on the Super LVI-winning squad, but was released in March 2022. He played the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
