Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic noted that the expected outlook for the franchise signal-caller shouldn't concern fans.
After suffering a season-ending ACL and MCL tear in Week 11 of his rookie season, Burrow recovered to put on a show in 2021 and led the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in 34 years. The 25-year-old finished the regular season with a league-best 70.4% completion percentage, while racking up 4,611 passing yards and 34 passing touchdowns against 14 interceptions. He also paced the NFL in yards gained per pass attempt (8.9) as well.
In four playoff games, Burrow completed 68.3% of his passes for 1,105 passing yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions.
With returning Pro Bowlers Joe Mixon and Ja'Marr Chase, as well as 1,000-yard wideout Tee Higgins, back in the mix with Burrow and company, the Bengals are expected to have one of the most electric offenses again this fall.
