Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah had a solid rookie year with the Browns. In his rookie year, Owusu-Koramoah had 76 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.

He played very well this past season, putting together many impressive plays.

What Strengths Does Owusu-Koramoah Have?

Per PFF, Owusu-Koramoah had an overall defensive grade of 76.5. That ranks him ninth among all linebackers.

Koramoah is a very versatile player, which gives the Browns options on how to use him. He played all around the field last season. He played as a cornerback and even as an offensive tackle. Koramoah definitely has a lot of potential that the Browns could build on.

What Can He Improve On?

One of the most glaring weaknesses that Koramoah has is his strength. At some point in the past season, he probably learned that most NFL players are much stronger than the college players he played at Notre Dame.

This was definitely the case when Koramoah built up a 17% missed tackle rate last season.

A quick way he could fix this is to slow down and wrap someone up. This will make tackling for him easier. This will also assure that he won’t rely on getting a big hit all the time.

What Should We Expect In Owusu-Koramoah’s Second Year?

We can expect that he could have a breakout year. If he can reduce the missed tackle percentage, his stats could be up there with the big names on the Browns’ defense like Myles Garrett. If he plays like people expect him to, he may find himself in the Pro Bowl Game.
