Cowboys: Juanyeh Thomas puts his fans on blast with social media post
Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys safety Juanyeh Thomas took aim at a portion of his fans on social media and put them on blast with a post on Twitter/X.

And the thing is, he couldn't be more right about what he said: Following news that linebacker Shaquille Leonard was signing with the Philadelphia Eagles instead of the Cowboys, it seems fans took to Thomas' DMs to complain.

Thomas stood up for his newest division rival entering Week 14 while giving Cowboys Nation a lesson they should know by now: These are grown men with families and this is a job for them. Dunking on a guy for picking a different team is petty and Thomas did nothing but call a spade a spade.

That being said, Thomas had his fun on social media following the news, suggesting that Leonard never seemed interested to sign with the Cowboys even during his visit with the team.

"Really ain't breaking news (...) Seen bro have that big ahhhh smile when he got off the plane, knew he made his decision," Thomas posted on Twitter/X.

He later added a hilarious GIF for illustration:

I for one am all for players showing off some of their personalities off the field and Thomas certainly looks like somebody who knows how to have some healthy fun, man.

On Sunday night, it'll be much more complicated to have lighthearted fun, though. The Cowboys will host the Eagles (and potentially Leonard himself) in a showdown that could go a long way in tipping the scales of the NFC East.

For now, though, all we can do is wait and make sure we turn on notifications for Juanyeh's account.
