Four legs and a dream: $20 to win $7941 lotto parlay for NFL Week 2

Last week we went for a big shot using DraftKings' risk-free bet, looking at four wide receivers each hitting 100+ yards. Calvin Ridley and Chris Olave both did, so for a second it felt like there might be a chance.

It was no dice on the big win, but encouraging to see us on the right path. I'm going back to the well for another try, still focused on the alternate yardage market and just four players.

I was in a state with access to Bet365, so I went there for this one with some bonus bets: the odds were best. If you don't have access to Bet365, DraftKings is next best at +34627 ($10 to win $3462.70) and they're once again offering risk-free wagers for one Sunday bet. Use that on something like this: it's a lottery ticket and should be bet responsibly.

(UPDATE: It hit!)

With that disclaimer out of the way, let's get to our gentlemen.

Zack Moss: 75+ rushing yards

I love Zack Moss this weekend in his first game of the year. The Colts running back is set to lead the backfield, and after Deon Jackson took 13 carries for just 14 yards, Indy should be chomping at the bit to get Moss involved.

He gets an ideal opponent to get his season started, a Houston defense that allowed the fourth-most yards per carry last year. The last game Moss played was a start against this Texans team. He finished with 114 yards that day, and here we are asking for just 75+.

Moss's last four games have seen him go for 81-65-74-114. He should get the workload, and I like the value here on him having a day.

Keenan Allen: 100+ receiving yards

I already wrote my love letter to Keenan Allen this week, taking his receiving yards straight this week. Allen is the same type of situation as Chris Olave last week, an opportunity to feast on a vulnerable Tennessee secondary. Allen led the team in targets last week and should break off some chunk plays in this one.

I think Mike WIlliams offers some nice value if you'd like to take a different shot, but I love Allen and am including him here to hit triple digits through the air. Allen has 100+ yards in two of his last five games.

James Cook: 100+ rushing & receiving yards

James Cook is another I'm on straight this weekend; I got him at -120 to go for 70+ rushing and receiving yards. The love is two-fold: the opponent and his usage.

Week 1 was our first chance to see how Cook looks in this offense with Devin Singletary gone, and it's clear he's the lead-back. He easily outpaced the other RBs in snaps, and saw 12 carries and six targets. While the production might have left something to be desired, it's just nice to see him so heavily involved.

The Raiders are one of the worst run defenses in football. Both Javonte Williams and Samaje Perine had efficient days on the ground last week. Las Vegas also is vulnerable to running back receptions, allowing the fourth-most last year and third-most last week.

Coming off a disappointing loss that saw Josh Allen play sloppy, I expect the Bills to lean on Cook and the ground game in a game in which they're favored by eight.

Mike Evans: 100+ receiving yards

We end with a familiar face from last week. We targeted Evans for 100+ in Week 1, and while he failed to do so, he still led Tampa Bay in receiving, catching six balls for 66 yards and a touchdown.

Evans gets another soft matchup against a Bears secondary that saw Jordan Love throw for multiple 30+ yard passes. This is good news for a guy like Evans, who tends to find success deep down the field. Chicago was vulnerable to these types of plays in 2022 and if Week 1 is any indication, it's going to be more of the same.

As Baker Mayfield's favorite target, it could just take a handful of explosive plays for Evans to hit this number. Evans has averaged 91.6 yards per game in his past nine home games.

Griffin's winning ticket. Griffin Carroll

And that's that! Four legs and a dream. I wagered $20 to win $7941.50, but that was because I had free bets from Bet365. I would cap this at $10 at most on DK with the risk-free, and if you don't have access to that, limit this to a cup of coffee. Good luck!!
