NFL divisional round: Three Sunday player props for the two matchups

Sunday's divisional-round slate should offer us quite the exciting matchups with Detroit vs. Tampa Bay and Kansas City vs. Buffalo, and we need to equip ourselves with some winning player props to make the day all the sweeter. Don't fret, we've got three.

Amon-Ra St. Brown over 91.5 receiving yards (-114 FanDuel)

Unlike the next spot we'll highlight, it's a bit easier for me to trust Amon-Ra St. Brown to lead Detroit in receiving in a plus spot. Tampa Bay ranks among the best targets for WR production. They're allowing the eighth-most receptions/game to the position, the second-most 20+ yard passes, the fourth-most passing yards per game and the seventh-most yards per pass attempt.

St. Brown is Goff's No. 1 receiver by a sizable margin, averaging 10.2 targets/game. St. Brown is averaging 112.4 yards per game over his last five, going over this line four times (the one under was 90). At home, he's been a force, going over this line in seven of eight, averaging 106.3 yards/game.

In October, St. Brown finished with 124 yards against the Bucs. I'm seeing a similar result here.

Baker Mayfield over 253.5 passing yards (-115 DraftKings)

I know I want to target this Detroit secondary, they're allowing the most 20+ yard passes per game, the third-most yards per pass attempt and the sixth-most passing yards per game and receptions to WRs.

I'm having a hard time choosing between Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, so I'm just going to pivot to the guy who throws them the football.

Mayfield has been on a tear of late, averaging 289.4 passing yards per game over his last five, including three games with 309+ yards.

Six straight QBs have gone over against the Lions; now it's Mayfield's turn.

Josh Allen over 43.5 rushing yards (-115 ESPN)

This Chiefs vs. Bills game could be a bit more defensive than we're going to want it to be, as both secondaries have been incredibly stout all season long.

That has me turning to some rushing props here, and on the Buffalo end, this line on Josh Allen is just the ticket. The Chiefs are allowing the seventh-most yards per rush, and while that should benefit James Cook, I think Allen can ride the wave as well.

Allen has hit this line in three straight games, including 67 and 74 yards in his past two games. Something about these big games gets Allen running, and the numbers back that up.

Allen has averaged 54.6 rushing yards per game in his postseason career, compared to 38.4 yards per game in the regular season.

He's also gotten up when he faces Kansas City, averaging 53.6 yards/game in six meetings. I'm ready for plenty of Allen rushes in this one.
