Report: Chiefs-Bears, Patriots-Saints set to clash in Germany

The Super Bowl champs are going on a world tour.

Per Bild.de, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Chicago Bears in Germany this season. New England is expected to face New Orleans in the other German game.

It will be Mahomes' first intercontinental game and the second year the NFL has held a game in Germany. Last year, Tampa Bay defeated the Seahawks 21-16, and the fans at Allianz Arena serenaded the players with John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads," a huge Oktoberfest hit.

Brady's former team, the Patriots, will face a Saints team coming off an appearance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London a year ago. New England is 3-0 all-time in the NFL's International Series, winning twice in the U.K. and once in Mexico City. New Orleans is 2-1, losing in brutal fashion for the first time last season against the Vikings.

This will mark the third time the Chiefs and Bears have played an international game. Kansas City last played in Mexico City in 2019 against the L.A. Chargers, winning 24-17. Chicago's last appearance in the International Series was in 2019 as well, a 24-21 loss to the Raiders in London.

The NFL schedule is expected to be released next Thursday but we already know the home teams in this year's other international games.

The league announced in January that the Bills, Titans and Jaguars will host games in the U.K. In December, it was announced that Mexico City won't host a game this year as Estadio Azteca undergoes renovations in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
