Report: RB Marlon Mack to join Broncos in London

Running back Marlon Mack will have plenty of airline miles to cash in on after signing with the Denver Broncos.

With Denver set to play in London this Sunday and Mack holding a spot on the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad, the running back had to become a frequent flier to join the Broncos.

Mack will get acclimated with his new team in a different country, with his first practice reps set to take place across the pond with Denver.

With RB Melvin Gordon a potential trade target and RB Aaron Boone going down with injury, the 2-5 Broncos need a rusher to pair with Gordon (for now) and RB Latavius Murray.

Mack, a former Indianapolis Colts draft pick, had rushed for nearly 2,500 yards and 20 touchdowns coming into 2022. He's seen action in two games this season but has not logged any stats just yet.

His new gig in Denver should help him get his legs going for the ongoing season, and help a struggling Broncos offense that has severely disappointed after trading for quarterback Russell Wilson in the offseason.

Denver has an early morning game with the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday in the U.K., a team very familiar with Mack from his Colts days.
