Trevor Lawrence's, Micah Parsons' development could mean 2021 NFL Draft class can become one of the best

Perhaps Micah Parsons has a Trevor Lawrence jersey on his wall because he believes they're a part of a draft class that's blossoming into one of the league's best.

"I love him. His jersey is on my wall at home," Parsons said in a Thursday news conference.

Parsons is a known jersey aficionado. He discussed wanting to add Aaron Rodgers' and Aaron Donald's jerseys to his collection earlier this season. However, Lawrence's jersey stands out since they share a connection.

Per ESPN, both were top-10 recruits in 2018. In 2021, they were selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Each looks like a rising star. Parsons won 2021 Defensive Rookie of The Year and tied for the league's third-best sack mark (12.0) through 13 games this season After a rocky rookie season, Lawrence is ninth in passing yards (3,202) over 13 starts.

Other stars from the talented draft class emerged too. Jamar Chase helped the Bengals reach Super Bowl LVI, and Justin Fields is on pace to become the third quarterback to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season.

"I think our draft class might have been one of the best draft classes," Parsons told Von Miller on his podcast recently.

While it's early, the draft class looks impressive. Parsons' and Lawerence's jerseys might adorn several walls if their trajectory headed toward superstardom continues.
