Video: Steelers Top Center Fits in Free Agency

We’re still two weeks away from the start of NFL free agency but the Pittsburgh Steelers have already begun making moves for 2024. Most notably thus far, the organization cut ties with starting center Mason Cole to clear some cap space. That begs the question: who will be at the pivot for the Pittsburgh offense next season? There’s certainly a handful of intriguing prospects this draft cycle but an addition via free agency certainly can’t be completely disregarded either.

Steelers Now analyst Derrick Bell breaks down his favorite free agent fits at the center position. This is typically a difficult position to find a competent starter but there are some good schematic matches available for what Arthur Smith likes to do on offense. It’ll be interesting to see the level of investment, if any, they make in free agency because that will give us clues on their draft strategy in April.
