Watch: Chiefs safety Justin Reid nails extra point vs. Bears

The legend of Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid grows.

Entering his first season with the Chiefs, Reid has already compiled over 300 tackles and seven interceptions after four seasons with the Houston Texans.

Recently, the 25-year-old showed the Chiefs another aspect of his game, kicking.

Just before halftime of the Chiefs' preseason matchup against the Chicago Bears, head coach Andy Reid sent Reid out to kick the extra point after a Kansas City touchdown.

After a nice snap and a perfect hold, Reid booted a line-drive kick through the uprights before celebrating with his teammates.

Reid made noise earlier this month when he hit a 65-yard field goal during Chiefs' practice.

A former soccer player in his youth, Reid once had aspirations to play overseas.

"I had big plans, when I was young, to go and play in Europe," Reid said as a guest recently on NFL Network's Good Morning Football. "You know, be like Didier Drogba, maybe go play for Chelsea. And then I eventually ended up finding love and passion in football. Around eighth, ninth grade, I made the switch. But I always kept my kicking background; I kicked in high school."
