Las Vegas --Former Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey didn't start Super Bowl LVIII the way he or anyone else who follows the San Francisco 49ers imagined.
In a very rare occurrence, McCaffrey got popped and fumbled the ball, giving it to the Kansas City Chiefs, while it didn't prove to be costly it was still a rough start to the game. Something he more than made up for later in the first half, as he was on the receiving end of a 21-yard double-pass touchdown from Jauan Jennings that extended their lead from 3-0 to 10-0.
