Watch: Jets RB Breece Hall scores 36-yard TD

Second-year running back Breece Hall is one of the few bright spots in another underwhelming season for the New York Jets (5-9).

Against the Washington Commanders (4-10), the former second-round pick burst through the line of scrimmage en route to a 36-yard TD, giving the Jets a 17-0 lead with 9:37 remaining in the first quarter.

Coming into the season, there were concerns about Hall. In 2022, he had an ACL tear end a promising rookie year. In the offseason, the Jets signed four-time Pro Bowler Dalvin Cook to add more RB depth.

Hall, however, bounced back and became a difference-maker. Entering Week 16, the 22-year-old leads the team in rushing with 153 carries, 637 yards and two TDs.

The Jets have already been eliminated from the postseason, extending their 13-year playoff drought. On the bright side, they can count on the talented young RB, who will take pressure off quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) when he returns next season.
