Watch: Josh Allen delivers stiff arm that would make Derrick Henry proud

The Buffalo Bills rained on the Los Angeles Rams' parade Thursday night, knocking off the defending Super Bowl Champions, 31-10, in the 2022 NFL season opener.

Bills' quarterback Josh Allen went crazy, finishing with four total touchdowns in the victory over the Rams.

While Allen led a dominating second-half effort over the Rams, one play encapsulated Buffalo's performance on Thursday night.

With the score tied 10-10 midway through the third quarter, the Bills were facing a 3rd and seven just over midfield. As Allen dropped back to pass, the pocket collapsed, forcing him to scramble toward the first down marker where he met Rams' safety Nick Scott. Allen delivered a heavy stiff arm to Scott, knocking him backward before getting the Bills a fresh set of downs.

Allen's emphatic stiff-arm reminded former quarterback Robert Griffin III of Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry.

Four plays after Allen's display of strength, he would connect with Isaiah McKenzie for a seven-yard touchdown to put the Bills ahead. Buffalo would outscore Los Angeles 21-0 in the second half, cruising to their first victory of the season.

Allen finished the night 26-for-31, throwing for 297 yards and three touchdowns through the air. The 26-year-old was also a terror on the ground. Allen averaged 5.6 yards off ten carries while adding a rushing score to his stat line.
