Watch: Raiders score back-to-back defensive TDs

The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a poor start in a crucial divisional matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

With 4:55 remaining in the second quarter, Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco fumbled a handoff to quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Raiders defensive tackle Bilal Nichols recovered and returned it for an eight-yard TD. Las Vegas botched the extra-point attempt.

On the next drive, Mahomes threw an interception to cornerback Jack Jones, who returned it for a 33-yard pick-six. The Raiders were successful on their two-point conversion attempt, which gave them a 17-7 lead.

Clearly, the Chiefs offense is out of sync, which isn't ideal against a Raiders defense that's improved under interim head coach Antonio Pierce. Through 14 games, Las Vegas ranks 10th in the NFL in points allowed ( 20 PPG).

Kansas City's offense (9-5) must get back on track in the second half, or it will keep making mistakes, which will help the Raiders pull off an upset.
