Quine’s contract is a one-year AHL contract for the coming 2022-2023 season. Quine, drafted by the New York Islanders in 2013, will play for his third different team in the last three years. Last season Quine played in 39 games and registered 6 goals, 22 assists, and 28 points for the Henderson Silver Knights.
After losing captain Brett Sutter earlier this month, the Reign needed to add some veteran leadership and depth at the forward position.
Quine will most likely see bottom-six minutes with the Ontario Reign as their quest for the Calder Cup starts October 14th.
