Tyson Jost Waived

The Buffalo Sabres have placed Tyson Jost on waivers today, the team announced. This is a likely move to free up room for some roster shuffling, as Tage Thompson was assigned to the non-roster list after missing last night’s contest for personal reasons.

Jost started in Thompson’s usual spot centering Buffalo’s top line, but after rendering ineffective coach Don Granato shuffled the lines around. He only logged 6:53 of ice time.

Jost was acquired by the Sabres via waiver claim on November 19th, 2022. He has 56 goals and 82 assists in 442 career NHL games.
