Aston Villa boss Emery pens new contract

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery has signed a new contract.

Amid claims of interest from Bayern Munich, Emery has penned a new deal today to 2027.

Emery has led Villa to fourth place in the Premier League. They are six points clear of Tottenham, who have two games in hand.

The Villa manager has also guided them into the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League. Villa will face Olympiakos for a place in the final.

Emery is in his second season at Villa Park, having guided them to a seventh-place finish last term.
