Bournemouth boss Iraola: West Ham pen didn't need VAR

Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola was unhappy with the officiating in his team's draw against West Ham United.

Iraola felt that VAR should not have been involved in giving West Ham a penalty to equalize.

Dominic Solanke's third-minute opener was nullified by James Ward-Prowse, with neither side able to create anything of note after that moment.

Iraola told the Daily Echo: I think it's a penalty.

I don't agree with the process, because it's the type of penalty where the referee sees live, sees that there is a contact, he takes the decision because he thinks it's not enough to be a pen.

And normally in this kind of plays, the VAR doesn't get involved.
