Antonio Conte wants to return to Italy, and there are two clubs above all that would seem to be a good fit given that they have imminent upcoming vacancies.

According to Calciomercato.com, it is almost time to answer the question ‘where will Conte coach next season?’. The former head coach of Inter and Juventus, who has been without a team after his farewell to Tottenham at the end of March 2023, has a ‘mad desire’ to get back to work.

He can’t wait to embrace a new project as per the report, but only if it is truly ambitious. The Italian will choose the club where the objectives are clear from day one, where he can fight to win trophies straight away.

He will say yes to a president who can satisfy him, not only from a personal point of view when it comes to his salary, but this does not mean that he will necessarily ask for a lot of investment in the summer mercato.

Conte starts from a certainty: he wants to return to work in Italy, in Serie A, where the firepower in terms of finances is decidedly limited compared to England. For that reason, it seems impossible he will get anywhere close to the €17m per year he received at Spurs.
